Jekyll & Hyde

The Court Youth Company will be swapping between Victorian-era England and modern-day Soho in their bold adaptation of Jekyll & Hyde this December!

Reimagined by Canadian-British playwright Evan Placey, this radical production puts a feminist spin on a sci-fi classic, with 21 young performers staging this work as their final production as part of the 2020 Court Youth Company.

“This adaptation of Jekyll & Hyde engages and surprises the audience with a fresh perspective on a classic story,” explains Programmes Manager Rachel Sears. “Fast-paced and exciting, it’ll be thrilling to watch what The Court Youth Company does with this script – and how the audience responds.”

Dan Bain (Boudica; Stephen King’s Misery) will be returning to the theatre to direct this production and with the season running for four nights only from 9 – 12 December, you’ll need to get in quick to book your tickets! Learn more & book now.
